From what I gather (and please correct me if I’m wrong) you’re attempting to collect stories from the city. If that’s the case, I have a LiveJournal that I use solely to post a novel-type work based off of all the RP (on public boards, clan ones, and through IMs) I participate in within the city.

Yes, you have it about right. The reason I am collecting stories and the like is as much to distance this site from the bulletin board/Yahoo group type thing coz there’s loads of them already.
I am happy to set up a book you can edit - but I know from experience that it can be a pain to keep 2 versions up to date, so I won’t twist your arm. I am wrestling with the permissions at the moment but should have it sorted in a day or two. We can give then give it a go if you like.

Meh, I don’t think I’d mind one more site. Once its written on one that’s the hard part done with, right?
I will warn you that I’m not all that good with coding and what not, so that might be a problem until I learn whichever system you work with. But I (like to think that) am a a fast learner.

Welcome aboard Persephony! Don’t worry about the coding - this site uses a small subset of HTML unless you tell it otherwise.
You don’t even have to do that if you don’t want, just enter the text.
You can create books and divide them into chapters etc. but even that is fairly straightforward. Or would you prefer it blog style?
BTW are you the same Persephony that wandered into The Abyss recently looking for someone to kill for fun? :P

Maybe. But I wasn’t really serious…. (or was I? hmm…) But yes, I’m the same one that said that. What did I say… oh, right “So, who do we kill for fun around here?”
And I suppose either way would work the best, though it would probably be easier for people to read if it was in a book style…

LOL Don’t worry about The Abyss - my reply was pretty surly.
I am just trying to get these damn permissions to work properly. Life is just to busy at the moment …
When I do get it set up, do you want to shift existing stuff across? If so, do you need help? I have got quite good at it (see Andron’s Crypt). If you’ve got an existing livejournal I could probably spider it, with your permission.

That might work best - The journal as it is is my medium that I do all the writing in, and as it is, there are alot of errors in it, grammar ones, formatting, blah blah blah. I’ve been compiling a word document of the story, and have been editing the majority of it so its much more legible - if you want I can send you the edited version, and you could do whichever you think is best for it. (I’m afraid of screwing things up :) )
